Chemistry Building Project Approved by UW System Board of Regents

The UW System Board of Regents voted to include the $103.5 million Chemistry Building Project in the capital budget for the 2013-15 biennium. This action represents an important step in the approval process, but it is not the final step. The project must now be approved by the State Building Commission and the State Legislature. These actions will occur in the next six to nine months. In the coming months, the department will conduct a variety of tours for state legislators and administrators.

An article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently featured the project, as well as the department's need for additional instructional space.
